Last updated: July 27, 2026

Protect the Network

No attacks, botnets, phishing, malware, spam, or abusive traffic.

Use Fairly

Use resources for the hosting plan purchased and avoid harming other customers.

Send clear abuse reports to abuse@ciphernode.cloud with logs and timestamps.

1. Purpose of This Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not allowed when using websites, client accounts, game server hosting, game panel access, support systems, network resources, and related services operated by CipherNode LLC (“CipherNode,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every customer, user, subuser, player, and person who accesses services through your account.

You are responsible for activity on your service, including activity by your staff, players, subusers, plugins, mods, bots, scripts, and any other software you install.

2. Prohibited Network Abuse

You may not use CipherNode services to attack, disrupt, scan, abuse, or interfere with any network, system, service, or person. Prohibited activity includes:

  • DDoS attacks, stress testing, booters, botnets, packet floods, reflection attacks, or traffic designed to disrupt other services.
  • Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, credential attacks, brute force attempts, exploitation, or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Running open proxies, public VPNs, tunneling services, TOR exit nodes, spam relays, or similar services without written approval.
  • Spam, phishing, malware distribution, credential harvesting, social engineering, or deceptive network activity.
  • Using your server to bypass bans, rate limits, geographic restrictions, or security controls on third-party platforms.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not store, host, link to, distribute, or promote unlawful, harmful, or abusive content through CipherNode services. This includes:

  • Content that violates applicable law, regulation, court order, or third-party rights.
  • Copyright-infringing content, pirated software, stolen databases, leaked credentials, or unauthorized copies of paid content.
  • Child sexual abuse material, exploitation, grooming, or any content involving sexual abuse of minors. This is strictly forbidden and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
  • Threats of violence, targeted harassment, doxxing, stalking, swatting, extortion, blackmail, or coordinated abuse.
  • Hate content or extremist content that promotes violence or unlawful harm against people or protected groups.
  • Fraud, scams, impersonation, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, or attempts to deceive CipherNode, customers, or third parties.

4. Game Server and Platform-Specific Rules

CipherNode is built for supported game server hosting. You may use your service for Minecraft Java, Minecraft Bedrock, FiveM, Rust, Palworld, ARK: Survival Ascended, Valheim, Project Zomboid, 7 Days to Die, Counter-Strike 2, Terraria Vanilla, and related game hosting tasks, subject to this policy and your plan limits.

You may not use game hosting services for unrelated high-risk or abusive workloads, including cryptocurrency mining, mass scraping, public file mirrors, bot farms, spam systems, open proxies, public VPNs, non-game commercial compute, or workloads that create excessive CPU, RAM, disk, database, or network load unrelated to the hosting plan purchased.

You are responsible for ensuring that scripts, plugins, mods, jars, worlds, maps, databases, resource packs, workshop items, and third-party files are licensed, safe, and allowed. You must comply with the applicable game publisher, platform, marketplace, account, license, monetization, and community rules.

You may not host pirated or “cracked” server software, bypass authentication or license checks, steal or share platform tokens, evade platform enforcement, distribute cheats or malware, or use servers for unauthorized botting, item farming, account farming, or economy manipulation.

Customer-supplied Cfx.re keys, Steam tokens, platform accounts, and other secrets must be legitimately obtained and kept private. Do not expose credentials in public files, logs, scripts, or support messages unless CipherNode specifically requests them through a secure support channel.

Using Egg Changer does not change these rules. Every installed game remains subject to the plan's resource limits and all applicable third-party terms.

Customer servers may include player-created communities, but your account must not be used to encourage unlawful activity, evade law enforcement, distribute illegal content, or knowingly allow abuse to continue after notice.

5. Resource Usage and Fair Use

Services must be used in a way that does not harm platform stability or other customers. We may investigate, throttle, suspend, migrate, or ask you to optimize a service if it causes repeated crashes, abusive disk I/O, excessive CPU load, memory pressure, network problems, database abuse, or backup/storage abuse.

“Unlimited” or “unmetered” features, where offered, are subject to fair use and are not permission to abuse shared resources, host unrelated content, or run workloads outside the intended service purpose.

6. Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account, server, and software secure. Use strong passwords, enable security features where available, limit subuser permissions, and keep plugins/mods updated.

If your service becomes compromised or causes abuse, we may suspend or isolate it to protect CipherNode, other customers, upstream providers, and the public internet.

7. Enforcement

We may review activity, investigate abuse reports, suspend services, remove content, block traffic, disable accounts, preserve evidence, or terminate services when we believe this policy has been violated or when action is needed to protect service reliability, legal compliance, or other users.

Severe violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund. We may report unlawful activity to law enforcement, upstream providers, payment processors, or other appropriate parties.

8. Reporting Abuse

To report abuse, email abuse@ciphernode.cloud. Include the service IP or hostname, timestamps with timezone, logs, screenshots, URLs, and a clear explanation of the issue.
